Objective of role:

  • As Accounting Manager, reporting to the Finance Director of NCA Trading (Vietnam).
  • To provide high quality of accounting data and financial reports as the accounting principle and tax regulations requirements and submit and process payment to tax departments, Vendor, employees right time.

Detailed responsibilities/accountabilities:

Accounting

  • Lead the accounting team to finish all daily and monthly closing activities by the committed deadline as per the VAS/IFRS principle and tax regulations.
  • Review accounting daily documents such as VAS and local tax regulations and internal policies.
  • Post salary, social insurance, Bonus and incentive and reconcile staff cost with C&B staff.
  • Check accounting transactions posted on ERP (Navision) daily to ensure all postings comply with accounting principles.
  • Responsible for the quality of accounting monthly closing performance (reconcile IC transaction, bank transaction, AR, AP, Fixed asset, prepaid expense allocation, sales, discount, VAT, exchange difference gain or loss, inventory, etc.)
  • Review payment document and payment tractions on bank system before asking to approve payment.
  • Prepare financial reports (P/L, BS, and CF) and explain the performance of financial reports.
  • Lead and work directly with the auditor for the financial statement auditing year-end package with a high-quality report and compliance with VAS and tax requirements.
  • Preparing and developing working instructions and procedures for the accounting team
  • Training and supporting the accounting team to understand accounting tasks and work effectively.
  • Collaborate with other Departments to have full information to take action for new requirement right time.
  • Train/coach accounting team for the reporting / reconciliation and working skills.
  • Provide accounting data to BOD for control budget usage.

Taxation

  • Prepare tax return CIT and review FCT; VAT report is completed declaration and payment for taxes on time.
  • Prepare the detail data for Transfer pricing.
  • Follow Transfer pricing documentation.
  • Prepare Accounting book and provide accounting data for tax auditor.
  • Handle the tax health check yearly with consultant.
  • Lead in tax auditing.

Government Report

  • Review reports required by the Government which related to accounting data.

Budget report:

  • Provide accounting data to Finance controller and BOD for budgeting.
  • Collaborate with others to complete Budget on time.

Requirements:

  • Graduated from the University of Finance and Accounting and Auditing.
  • Have experience working at Big 4 for at least 3 years.
  • Understand tax regulations and VAS/IFRS principles.
  • Proactive in solving problems and leading the team.
  • Good at communication in Vietnamese and English.
  • Write English at a professional level.
  • Speak English fluently and efficiently.
  • Good at presentation, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Have experience in retail business.
  • Have experience using ERP, Navision experience is a plus.
  • Results-driven, creative, with integrity, loyalty and hands-on attitude.
  • Willing to join company events.
